Independent Medical Examinations
Request an IME when clarification of a medical issue is required or answers to specific questions are needed. Examinations and assessments are performed by credentialed physicians and allied health-care professionals. IMEs provide impartial, evidence-based insights on the nature and severity of an injury.
Medical File Reviews
Request a medical file review when a paper-based assessment will suffice for clarification of outstanding medical questions. Reviews and assessments by physicians and allied health-care professionals provide an independent, third-party, evidence-based opinion. Paper-based reviews do not require a physical examination.
Medical-Legal Reviews
Request a medical-legal review to inform the medical issues in a case. Direct IME works with defendants and plaintiff counsel on complex cases where legal expertise is a must.
